ctop software package provides Command line / text based Linux Containers monitoring tool, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ctop
ctop is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ctop package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ctop *
You will get with ctop package name, version, architecture and description in a table
